Skip Bayless: “Kawai Lenard won’t be back this season.

Renowned sports expert Skip Bayless said that injured Clippers forward Kawai Lenard will not play in the 2021/22 season.

“A little breaking news. I was informed yesterday that Kawai Lenard will not return this season.

He was very likely supposed to come back, but the Clippers made a different decision. They decided to keep him on the bench for the rest of the season.

So Lakers fans shouldn’t fear Kaway. As bad as the Lakers are, they have a chance this season because they won’t have to deal with the Clippers. Kawai will be back next October,” Bayless said.

Lenard is recovering from surgery for a partial tear of his right cruciate ligament. With the best of luck, the forward will reportedly start practicing with the team in March.
